When a User Leaves Your Organization

Turnover within organizations is unavoidable. Employees come and go as part of an organization’s natural evolution. However, what is avoidable is the loss of key contacts and relationships an employee has fostered while working for your organization. Maintaining that intellectual property is vital to the continued success of your organization.

With this in mind, there are two areas that must be addressed:

  • Relationship Tasks - these are the processes for determining what and whom an employee knew, so you can preserve any relationships and maintain the continuity of your business. These tasks are more important than the administrative tasks.
  • Administrative Tasks - these are the normal cleanup processes of removing an employee as a user of InterAction.

Data Minder provides an offboarding process for employees leaving your organization. That process allows you to review relationships and activities and evaluate them. It also provides a central location for many administrative tasks around the employee and allows you to perform one or multiple tasks in any order.
