Notes in Tasks
Notes can be added and used to indicate what is happening with a task, including why it has not been completed, what it needs, what issues have been encountered, etc.
Note text can be added in either the Add Task or Edit Task panes. The Add Task pane appears when you click the Add New button of the Task pane of an Opportunity or Pursuit. The Edit Task pane appears when you click on an existing task to edit it, whether from your Task List or from the parent Opportunity or Pursuit. The View Task opens the Task Details pane, which is not editable.
Every task can have multiple notes attached. The most recent one displays on top.
Each task note is limited to 2000 characters of plain text.
Any user who can view a particular task can also create a note for it.
