Deleting a Task

Any Full license user can delete any task. Standard license users can delete any task assigned to them.

Tasks are deleted from the Task List or the Task panel of the associated opportunity or pursuit. On the Task List or Task panel, select the task to be deleted. At the right end of the row is a Delete icon . Click on that Delete button.

You can only delete one task at a time.

All notes associated with a task are deleted when a task is deleted.

CAUTION Deleting a task is a permanent operation in InterAction Business Edge. The Task is deleted from the Task List and Task panel. Its email history is deleted. All associations with pursuits or opportunities are broken, although the opportunity or pursuit remain. Any notes associated with the task are deleted with it. The task is no longer counted in any reports. Email links to the task no longer work.
