Creating an initiative

Anyone with a Standard or Full license can create a new initiative.

NOTE You can add a new initiative that is unlinked to anything or one that is linked directly to an existing opportunity or pursuit.

 

To create an initiative unlinked to any opportunity or pursuit:

  1. Click the button at the top of the main window. Select New Initiative. The Create New Initiative screen appears.

  2. Enter the name and description data in their fields and click Save.

    NOTE Initiative names must be unique.

 

To create an initiative already linked to an existing opportunity or pursuit:

  1. Open the opportunity or pursuit.
  2. Click the button in the Associated Initiative panel of the pursuit or opportunity. The Create New Initiative pane appears.

  3. Enter the name and description data in their fields, and click Save. The newly-created initiative appears in the Associated Initiative panel.
