Viewing activities with a company

The Activities panel on the Opportunity Overview and Pursuit Overview screens compiles data on the logged activities with a target company. It can help you assess what activities have gone on between the firm and the target company and which activities are successful. This can then help you plan whether to continue particular activities and levels or to move to other kinds.

Activity types are entered by the system administrator. Each activity type is identified as Incoming or Outgoing. Outgoing activities are those initiated by someone at your firm. Incoming activities are initiated by someone at the target company.

An activity is included in the data if any of the contacts attached to the activity is in the contact segment and is employed by the target company.

The Summary View shows activities counts of outgoing, incoming, and total activities. It also includes an area chart (or line chart) of the activities conducted over time. The chart can be filtered by activity type, company contact, start and end date as well as period.

The List View displays the activities details, breaking down the data by activity type, direction, activity count, etc. The list can also be filtered by activity type, company contact, start and end dates, and period.

Both the Summary View and the List View can be filtered further. Select Filters to open the Filter panel. You can then specify:

  • Company Contacts - Select All, Alumni, Legal Counsel, or Leadership. The default setting is All.]
  • Start and End Dates - Select the dates to specify the activity range. [The default setting is the last 12 months.]
  • Include - Select up to 5 activity groups.

As you filter, the summary metrics, charts, and details are updated to reflect the filter selection.
