The Basics of Business Edge
When you login to InterAction Business Edge, it opens by default to your Task List. Your Task List shows the tasks that are assigned to you, their type, description, and due date.
Basic users can see and update tasks assigned to them. Standard and Full users can view additional information. For example, Tasks can lead you to the associated Opportunity or Pursuit.
- Review your Tasks - Review the tasks in the Task List and complete the tasks assigned to you as they come due.
- Track your Pursuits and Opportunities - InterAction Business Edge allows you to track information about companies you are pursuing (Pursuits) and potential work (Opportunities). This includes information on the relationships that you have at those companies and the activities that you have had engaging with people at those companies. It is important to keep this information up-to-date to track progress towards winning business from these companies.
- Report on your Progress - InterAction Business Edge provides reports for monitoring your pipeline of in-progress Opportunities. This allows you to report out on progress towards closing new business.
- Analyze your Outcomes - InterAction Business Edge also provides reports for closed Opportunities that have been won, lost, or declined. These reports allow you to report on and understand the outcome so you can plan how to improve.
