Setting Data Change Management Data Managers
A Data Change Management user or group can be given data manager privileges. A user or group that is given data manager privileges can do the following:
- Access all Data Change Management tickets through a Data Manager Inbox, regardless of the user to which the ticket is assigned.
- Access all Data Change Management users’ Inboxes.
- Complete any tickets regardless of the user or group to which it is assigned.
The data manager privileges should only be given to key employees with a solid understanding of InterAction and its data. Data Change Management users and groups who are not given these privileges are typically data stewards who are only interested in watching specific sets of contacts. For example, a data steward that only monitors changes made to organization personnel so that updates can be made in the Human Resources system should not have the data manager designation.
If you are logged in as IAADMIN, you automatically have data manager privileges.
